Choose to study in Africa, and you’re likely to end up learning a lot more than just the topics on your course curriculum. Your experience will vary entirely, depending on which part of this huge continent you settle in, but regardless of your location, you’re likely to encounter opportunities to explore a mixture of different cultures, political perspectives, languages, natural landscapes and urban spaces.
Most of the region’s highest-ranked universities are found either in the north, in Egypt, or at the far south, in South Africa – but a growing number of other African nations are also attaining greater visibility in the higher education world.
